Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to inspired, the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and only by God’ grace through faith we saved. We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, it is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

Classrooms

Each of our four classrooms are led by two certified co- teachers. With classroom ratios of 8:1 your child will receive daily individual lessons by a Montessori trained staff and the freedom to accomplish their academic milestones at a pace that fits their needs.

Asia Jackson

Teacher: Room 112 / Orange Room

I am currently taking classes at Mira Costa College to earn a degree in Child Development. I am very involved in my church’s Sunday school program. Working at a Christian Montessori has opened my eyes to seeing children as God sees them and helping them to grow in who they are created to be.

Tami O'Connell

Teacher: Room 113 / Green Room

I have worked in a variety of preschools schools since 1984. I received my Montessori Certificate in 1993 and since then have firmly believed in the principals and foundation a good Montessori curriculum provides. As a hobby I love to act on stage and love bringing that aspect of my personality into the classroom.

Ashley Tanner

Teacher: Room 113 / Green Room

I just graduated from Cal State San Marco with my Bachelor’s Degree. I love getting to put all that I have learned into action and apply it in my classroom. Seeing the students master their lessons and set a foundation for learning brings me joy. I am thankful to be working here at VCPS.

Wendy Bonilla

Teacher: Room 114 / Red Room

Wendy has began teaching in 2003. She has both a Montessori as well as Child Development background. She has been a mentor teacher at Horizon Prep before coming to Vista Christian. This is her first year at VCPS. We look forward to having her invest into the lives of the students and families here.

Kristin Trevino

Teacher: Room 115 / Blue Room

I am celebrating my 20th year at VCPS! I absolutely love the Montessori Approach to teaching. I received my Montessori Certificate in 2012. They say if you choose a job you love you will never have to work a day in your life and I’m proof of that!

Genesis Wilches

Teacher: Room 115 / Blue Room

This is my 2nd year at VCPS. I am blessed to have my 2 children also the elementary school. I have my BA is Speech alongside taking Child Development Classes. I love working as a co-teacher and can see how it allows for a better balance and broader view of the students capabilities in our classroom.

Seana Arroyo

AM/PM Staff

Seana is a true gift from God. She is always faithful to make sure the students of VCPS are well taken care of and entertained no matter what time of day it is. Seana is currently going to college to pursue her education of working in the Child Development field.
